Last Friday, invited me to take part in a local comic jam at the Garrison Ale House here in Fredericton. In addition to the two of us, there were six other participants, though I didn't get all of their names (personal flaw: I tend to have issues with placing names to faces the first few times I meet someone). The only other one I knew outside of that gathering was Jason, a guy from the local Strange Adventures comic shop. A guy who both makes and sells comics - how about that?

Perhaps it was because we were all there for the same thing - drawing comics or just general comic-related art - that I was able to sketch four pieces in under two hours. The one thing the place we chose was bad for was shop-talk: I kept having to raise my voice whenever I wanted to ask a question due to the noise level of everyone around our little island of stability. Nevertheless, I had fun, and if there is another comic jam, I plan to be there.
